Las Terrenas.- El Alcalde Eduardo Esteban informo que participó en la firma de un convenio con la Liga Municipal Dominicana, donde el ayuntamiento de Las Terrenas recibirá 4.8 Millones de pesos para la construcción de aceras y contenes, de los cuales la institución recibió el 50% de estos recursos por ser unos de los ayuntamientos que tiene al día los requisitos establecidos para tales fines.
También sostuvo un encuentro con el ministro encargado de programas especiales de la presidencia (PROPEEP), Neney Cabrera, donde pasaron balance a los trabajos de construcción de la estación de transferencia de desechos sólidos que se construye en el vertedero municipal.
Además Esteban solicitó formalmente al ministro asumir unas series de iniciativas en beneficio de la comunidad de La Granja, que mejorarían significativamente la imagen de esta comunidad, por lo que el ministro se comprometió apoyar un programa embellecimiento que realizará la Alcaldía, y asumirán el Asfaltado de la calle principal de La Granja, desde el cruce del Boulevard hasta el vertedero, por lo que obras públicas trabajaría las demás zonas, realizamos la solicitud con carácter de urgencia.
